Even more photos

It was lovely to see so many people on Tuesday morning. I hope you got a bit of an insight into phonics and understanding what words such as digraphs and trigraphs mean, not to mention robot sounding.

The phonic game website is www.phonicsplay.co.uk. There are lots of free games although
I don't think that the subscription to the other areas is very much. Please look at phases 2 and
3 although some children might manage phase 4 as well. You can also visit Letters and Sounds
http://www.letters-and-sounds.com

The family learning site http://www.familylearning.org.uk has down loads of the 45 tricky words
that you can print out onto card or paper if your child still needs flash cards. There are also ideas
about games you can play with these words. Some children are ready for Y1/Y2 words which
can also be printed. I would suggest these will be for children who confidently know their 45
words and are reading Red 2b books or beyond. The 45 reception words are an expected
progress measure although some children will be exceeding and others working towards this
 target.

We had a great PE lesson with Mr Murphy today. We were travelling on different parts of our
body as well as balancing on apparatus and creating different shapes.

And now for lots of different things including writing words with different sounds in.

Hope you enjoy the photographs.
